No. 3 of 2023: Emergency and incident reporting in the Dee Conservancy
Mariners are hereby reminded of the requirement for the reporting of marine emergencies and incidents in the Dee Conservancy in line with MGN 564 (M+F) – Marine Casualty and Marine Incident Reporting, issued in October 2017.
Emergency reporting
Any marine emergency or incident that could endanger life or lead to a possible hazardous situation developing within the Dee Conservancy should be immediately reported to the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) by:
Tel 999 – ask for the Coastguard
or
VHF Channel 16
