DEE ESTUARY - Derelict boat removal project

Mariners are advised that Bluepoint Marine Services (“BMS”) have been awarded the contract for the disposal of 5 no Vessels which have been identified as being abandoned following public consultation and thus require removing.

The Vessels are located on the Connah’s Quay dock wall (CQ001 Sunken Yacht) and (CQ002). At Greenfields 1 no Vessels (GF022A) Holy Bagillt 2 no vessels (HB000 & HB023)

The BMS team plans to use Marland Marine’s slipway at Connahs Quay for storing equipment and boats.

BMS will utilise two vessels to assist with activities;

Mariners are advised to pass at minimum speed, giving the operations as wide a berth as is practical

This notice will cancel on completion of works, anticipated to be 21 March 2025.
