NOTICE OF EIA CONSENT DECISION

CONSTUCTION AND DREDGE WORKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE MOSTYN ENERGY PARK EXTENSION PROJECT (CML2283)

Notice is hereby given that Natural Resources Wales (“NRW”) has carried out an environmental impact assessment (‘EIA’) under the Marine Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2007 as amended (‘the EIA Regulations’) in respect of the Mostyn Energy Park Extension Project. In accordance with regulation 22 of the EIA Regulations, NRW has decided to grant EIA consent for the project subject to conditions being imposed.

Written confirmation of the EIA consent decision is available for public inspection on NRW’s public register. The written confirmation includes the main reasons and considerations on which the EIA consent decision was based, a summary of the consultations undertaken and information gathered, conclusion about effects of the project on the environment and conditions attached to the EIA consent decision.

Copies of the written confirmation of the EIA consent decision may be obtained online from https://publicregister.naturalresources.wales/ or by emailing NRW at permittingconsultations@naturalresourceswales.gov.uk. You can search for the documents using the application reference number CML2283. If printed copies are requested, a charge not exceeding reasonable copying costs may be made.

Natural Resources Wales is an appropriate authority under the EIA Regulations and has been delegated functions as the appropriate licensing authority by the Welsh Ministers for the purposes of Part 4 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009. NRW will proceed to take a regulatory decision in relation to the application for a marine licence.
